Dress Yourself in RED:
Salon d'Automne
Lakefront Brewery
1872 N. Commerce St. in Brewer's Hill
Saturday, October 20 8-11 pm
What are they doing?
This color project demonstrates that there is a simple choice in creating links between people. As simple as what color clothes
you wear today. And while we each may wear different hues of the color, different patterns,
different textures, we are visually read in combination and become a powerful symbol for the interconnectedness of people at any time. And we
invite your participation in creating this symbol.
Red is the fifth color in a series of wearable sculpture projects performed by the Traveling Wearables under a grant
from Visual Arts Milwaukee (VAM!) Other colors performed throughout the summer have been
Pink at Walker's Point, Green at MIAD, Orange at the Milwaukee Art Museum and
Purple at UWM's inova gallery.
